DMCA / Copyright Takedown Policy
MasalaNights (masalanights.com) respects copyright laws and responds to valid takedown requests under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512). Since all videos are embedded from third-party sites, when we remove a listing, it only disappears from MasalaNights. The actual video stays on the host site, which should also be contacted if you want it removed.
How to send a takedown notice
Send your notice to our designated agent, Copyright Agent, using the contact page at contact page. Your notice must include:
- The URL of each listing on masalanights.com you want removed
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed
- Your contact information
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use isn’t authorized
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner
- Your physical or electronic signature
What happens after you send a notice
We review complete notices within a few business days and remove the listing from the site. If your notice is missing information, we’ll ask you to provide it. Users who repeatedly infringe copyrights will be removed from the site’s index. If you believe your content was wrongly removed, you can submit a counter-notice under § 512(g) through the same contact page.
